Where to Recycle Beverage Containers
Collect your used beverage containers at home in a bin or bag. Bring them to your nearest designated used beverage container return location to get back full refunds on the deposits you paid when you bought your beverages.
PEI’s network of beverage container depots serves as the official return locations for redeeming beverage container deposits.
They are local, independently owned businesses. Encorp Atlantic pays them service fees for paying refunds to the public and collecting, sorting, counting, preparing and shipping used beverage containers to be processed for recycling and refilling.

Customer Service / Report an Incident
Depots are privately owned independent businesses. Your first point of contact regarding any incidents that you wish to report should be the depot’s manager.
You can also fill out our online incident report form. Encorp Atlantic represents beverage producers and is responsible for processing and recycling deposit-bearing beverage containers collected at return locations throughout PEI. We will share your comments with the appropriate stakeholders for follow-up, including the depot in question, or any other concerned party for their response.
HOW MUCH ARE MY EMPTIES WORTH?
When you buy a beverage at the store, you pay a deposit on top of the price of the item. You get this deposit back as a refund if you return the empty beverage container for recycling at any designated used beverage container return location.
